Nutrition Therapist

Jackie is a Licensed Registered Dietitian Nutritionist who has a large focus on treating people of the LGBTQ+ community. She specializes in recipe development, meal planning and nutrition therapy for substance use disorder rehabilitation and sobriety. Jackie has been told that she brings love, warmth and togetherness into her group settings making everyone feel welcomed and accepted. Jackie graduated with a Bachelor’s of Science in Dietetics from Kansas State University and completed her internship at Iowa State University. She earned a Master’s of Science in Medical Nutrition from Arizona State University where her focus was on nutrition and the health disparities amongst transgender individuals. Jackie, with Parkland Nutrition PLLC, works in collaboration with primary mental health therapists, medical providers and treatment centers to provide a collaborative approach for each individual client. This provides comprehensive and effective recovery without gaps in care.
